When we enter into a relationship, we give our uncompromising trust to the person we love. We believe everything our beloved says, until deception comes in. One form of deception is micro-cheating. For those who is not familiar with the word, micro cheating refers to subtle, often seemingly innocuous behaviors that undermines the trust and boundaries in a relationship. While these behaviors might not involve physical betrayal, they can erode the emotional foundation of a relationship. Micro cheating creates a deep wound that stays in our hearts and mind.
This is a poem created by micro-cheating;
In twilight's hush where shadows weave their thread, A man and woman shared their whispered dreams, Yet in the quiet dark where truths are said, A slip of heart fell silent, or so it seems. He danced on edges, subtle, and almost kind, A fleeting glance, a smile that lingered long, Not with intent to leave his love behind, But in his haste, he brushed the lines of wrong. She caught the scent of secrets in the air, A touch too light, a spark that didn't fade, He swore it was a slip, a fleeting glare, Yet wounds from such small slips are not easily unmade. In his small forays, where shadows play, The trust they built began to softly fray, For though he never crossed a glaring line, The whispers of his acts stole more than time. In the quiet aftermath of trust's decay, A fracture where sincerity once lay, In whispered sins, we find the wounds to keep, And hearts must reckon with the price they pay.
